Q: What types of photography services do you offer? A: We offer a variety of services, including:

Q: Are your services available for both men and women? A: Yes, all services are available for both men and women, except for Gentlemen Boudoir, which is specifically designed for men.

Q: Is there an age requirement for your services? A: Yes, all clients must be 18 years of age or older to participate in any photography session.

Q: What if I’m under 21? Are there any restrictions? A: Clients under 21 will not be offered alcohol during sessions where wine is provided (e.g., Ruby, Diamond, To-ryu, Gold, Couples Boudoir Collections). Instead, they will receive a specialty dessert.

Booking and Reservations

Q: How do I book a session? A: Contact us at info@BellissimoExpressions.com or (707) 213-5007 to check availability and discuss your desired service. Once confirmed, a session reservation fee is required to secure your booking.

Q: What is the session reservation fee, and is it refundable? A: The reservation fee varies by service and is applied toward the total cost of your chosen collection. If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 4 days before your session to avoid forfeiture of the fee. If you proceed with the session but choose not to select a collection for final payment, the reservation fee will serve as compensation for the time and artistry dedicated to your photoshoot.

Q: Can I reschedule my session? A: Yes, you can reschedule subject to availability, provided you request the change at least 48 hours in advance.

Q: What are the payment requirements for Engagement and Wedding Collections? A: To reserve your Engagement or Wedding session, we require 75% of the collection price as a deposit, payable in two installments at least one month prior to the event. Failure to complete the deposit by this due date may result in the loss of your reservation. The remaining balance can be settled during or after the event. Photos will be delivered once the collection is paid in full.

Payments

Q: When is full payment due? A: Full payment is required before any collection products (e.g., albums, digital images) are delivered.

Q: Do you offer payment plans? A: Yes, payment plans are available for higher-tier collections (Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, Kogyoku, To-ryu, Silver, Gold, Couples Boudoir Collections). The plan must be paid in full before receiving your products. Payment plans do not apply to reservation fees.

Q: Can I upgrade my collection during the session? A: Absolutely! You can upgrade to a higher-tier collection during your session. If the upgraded collection has a higher reservation fee, we’ll kindly request the difference in payment before incorporating the additional elements.

Q: Are there any additional costs I should be aware of? A: Optional add-ons, such as professional hair and makeup, may incur additional fees. For Engagement and Wedding sessions, location or travel fees may apply if outside our standard service area.

Q: Are gift cards and gift certificates refundable? A: Thank you for reaching out about our gift cards and gift certificates! While our gift certificates and cards are non-refundable, they can be used towards any of our wonderful services and products at Bellissimo Expressions (unless specific limitations are noted for that service or product it is referenced to. In such case, please adhere to the limitations listed on that particular service or product). Think of them as a special opportunity to treat yourself or someone you love to a memorable experience! Each gift certificate is a one-time use, ensuring you get the full value of your visit with us. Cancellations and Refunds

Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy? A: We understand that plans may change, and we strive to accommodate our clients whenever possible.

  • For regular sessions (boudoir, portraits, engagement): Cancellations must be made at least 4 days before the session to receive a refund of the reservation fee (minus any processing fees). Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance and are subject to availability.

  • In the event of a no-show for boudoir sessions or engagement events, the reservation payment is forfeited, and the session will need to be rebooked with a new fee.

  • For Engagement and Wedding Collections: The deposit becomes non-refundable if canceled within one month of the event. For wedding cancellations, we offer the following refund schedule for payments made (excluding any non-refundable portions already specified):

    • More than one year prior: 90% refund

    • Between six months and one year prior: 75% refund

    • Between three months and six months prior: 50% refund

    • Between two months and three months prior: 25% refund

    • Between one month and two months prior: 15% refund

    • Within 30 days: No refund We appreciate your understanding and are happy to discuss rescheduling options if needed.

Q: What happens if I don’t show up for my session? A: In the event of a no-show, the reservation fee is forfeited, and you will need to pay a new fee to rebook.

Session Details

Q: What should I expect during my session? A: Each session includes professional posing direction, preparation, styling, and guidance. You’ll have multiple studio looks or setups, with images captured in color and black & white, including fine art and creative story images. A luxury album and a specified number of digital images are included, depending on your collection.

Q: How should I prepare for my session? A: We recommend arriving well-rested and hydrated. For boudoir sessions, bring outfits that make you feel confident. We’ll provide styling guidance during your free pre-session consultation (available online or by phone).

Q: Can I purchase additional images or products? A: Yes, you can purchase additional images or products during or after your session.

Q: Are food and drinks provided during the session? A: Yes, non-alcoholic drinks, light snacks, and chocolate are provided (gluten-free and vegan options available). For select collections, wine is available for clients 21 and over (or a specialty dessert for those under 21).

Specific Service Information

Portrait and Boudoir Photography (Individual, Couples, Gentlemen)

Q: What is the focus of a boudoir session? A: Boudoir sessions celebrate your sensuality, confidence, and individuality in a safe, judgment-free environment. Couples Boudoir focuses on intimacy and connection, while Gentlemen Boudoir celebrates masculinity, strength, and vulnerability.

Shibari Experience Boudoir

Q: What is Shibari, and is it safe? A: Shibari is an ancient Japanese art of rope bondage incorporated into boudoir photography for a unique, artistic experience. Our highly skilled Shibari practitioner follows strict safety protocols, and you can stop the session at any time if you feel uncomfortable.

Q: Do I need experience with Shibari? A: No experience is necessary. Our practitioner will guide you through the process, ensuring your comfort and safety.

Q: Are there health considerations for Shibari sessions? A: Yes, please disclose any physical limitations, injuries, or health concerns prior to your session so we can tailor the experience to your needs.

Engagement and Wedding Photography

Q: What is included in Engagement and Wedding photography packages? A: Engagement sessions include a specified number of digital images and outfit changes. Wedding packages include coverage hours, digital images, and luxury albums. Details vary by collection.

Q: Are there additional fees for locations or travel? A: Location fees (if applicable) are not included in the package price and must be covered by the client. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.

Q: Will my images be used for promotional purposes? A: Yes, by booking a session, you grant us the right to use your images for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Q: Can I sell or distribute my images commercially? A: No, commercial use of images is not permitted without prior written permission from Bellissimo Expressions Photography.

Liability and Waiver

Q: What is your policy on liability and unforeseen events? A: Client participation in any session is voluntary. Clients assume all risks associated with the session, including but not limited to physical activity, posing, or use of props (such as in Shibari sessions). Bellissimo Expressions Photography is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation, except where caused by gross negligence.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., photographer illness, equipment failure, or force majeure events such as natural disasters), we will make every effort to reschedule or provide a suitable substitute. If that's not possible, liability is limited to a refund of payments made.

Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Bellissimo Expressions Photography, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities related to the session or use of images as permitted.
